Diary of a Turkey!
Hello everyone! I want to share a fun Thanksgiving writing activity that I did last year with my students. We have all enjoyed reading Doreen Cronin books such as "Diary of a Worm" in my class. Well, after reading the different versions of those books, my students created their own version called, "Diary of a Turkey." Let me tell you, they had so much fun doing this activity. This is also a great activity for teaching voice in writing. I'm sad that I do not have pictures of the final product of their books because they were so cute and creative! You can download the writing paper that I used for the activity for free by clicking here! If your kiddos do this activity, please share and tell us how it went! Thanks for stopping by!

The Hands-On Teacher in First!
Your name makes me smile! I saw your comments on a few blogs, but when I'd click the link at the bottom of your comments it said that that page does not exist. Maybe a typo? Teacher Blogging Basics has a post about creating a hyperlink that I've found helpful.
