Diary of a Turkey!

Hello everyone! I want to share a fun Thanksgiving writing activity that I did last year with my students. We have all enjoyed reading Doreen Cronin books such as "Diary of a Worm" in my class. Well, after reading the different versions of those books, my students created their own version called, "Diary of a Turkey." Let me tell you, they had so much fun doing this activity. This is also a great activity for teaching voice in writing. I'm sad that I do not have pictures of the final product of their books because they were so cute and creative! You can download the writing paper that I used for the activity for free by clicking here! If your kiddos do this activity, please share and tell us how it went! Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Hey Vicky! Thanks for stopping by and leaving us a comment. :) We were just talking on the phone and whining to each other that nobody visits our blog. I think most of our page view come from us! It's nice to know that someone is reading. Thanks again!

  6. Your name makes me smile! I saw your comments on a few blogs, but when I'd click the link at the bottom of your comments it said that that page does not exist. Maybe a typo? Teacher Blogging Basics has a post about creating a hyperlink that I've found helpful.

Your blog is adorable and I'm happy to be your newest follower!
